Dr. Sherwood is a native Texan and grew up in a little town called Panhandle. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin, and afterwards attended the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio, Texas. He received his DDS degree in 1996 while graduating Cum Laude. He then completed his residency training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1998 where he received the honor of serving as chief surgical resident. He has been practicing in Austin since June of 1998 and is also actively involved in his community, volunteering with such organizations as Christina’s Smile,  Hope House and the Heart Gift Program. He is a member of Grace Covenant Church and enjoys teaching and serving in the children’s ministry. He has been married to his wife Krista since 1995 and they have four wonderful children, Grant, Gabby, Garrett and Gregory. In his spare time he loves playing basketball, preparing gourmet meals and just having fun with his family. |
